What a professional house wash actually does
House washing is not the same as pointing a pressure washer at your siding. Most residential exteriors are cleaned with a soft wash: a low-pressure application of cleaning solution that breaks down algae, mildew, pollen and dirt, followed by a gentle rinse.
Because the cleaning solution does the work instead of high pressure, the approach is far safer for vinyl seams, painted trim, window screens and older brick mortar — and it addresses organic growth at the source rather than just knocking the surface layer off.
